About Kate

Kate Engelmeyer is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist originally from Pensacola, Florida. She began writing songs when she was 13 years old and performed at coffee shops, art galleries, restaurants, and local festivals throughout high school and college. 

After moving to South Florida with her husband in 2022, Kate focused on establishing herself as a freelance musician in the area. For nearly 3 years now, Kate has performed regularly at venues around South Florida, played for numerous private events, and shared her music at local artist showcases and other events, such as Make Music Miami. During her performances, she loves to play her own renditions of pop, rock, jazz, and country songs on guitar and ukulele. She also accompanies herself on piano on occasion.

Kate's debut EP "Soft Spoken" was released on streaming platforms in 2023 and her new EP "Questions" was released on October 17th, 2025. Her original songs are characterized by their beautiful melodies, passionate vocals, introspective lyrics, and pop, rock, and folk influences.
